Community Workshop and Training Center provides programs and services to adults with disabilities; enriching their quality of life, promoting social change, and optimizing their potential for independence. Programming focuses on four areas: organizational employment, community employment, community integration, and community living.

Eligibility:
Employment Programs: Individuals age 18+ with a documented disability that causes a barrier to being employed in the community. Must meet state vocational rehabilitation acceptance guidelines. Must be able to self medicate. Cannot be a danger to self or others.
Supportive Housing: Individuals age 18+ with a documented disability (mental disability for Community Integrated Living Arrangement facilities) and in need of an array of services and a supervised living arrangement. Must not be in need of skilled nursing care, prenatal care, or specialized services.
Community Integration: Individuals age 16 and older with a documented developmental disability. Must be able to self-medicate. Cannot be a danger to self or others. Must also be able to ambulate independently (with or without the help of assistive devices).

Description
The Community Workshop and Training Centerâs Community Integration Program provides a goal oriented program of services that assist in the development of skills in the areas of community access, communication, socialization, pre-vocational skills and academic skills. Also under this umbrella is the Older Adult Program which focuses on the issues associated with the impact of aging on social, physical, employment and psychosocial needs.
