City of Peoria-2022 Down Payment Assistance Program

Description:

The Down Payment Assistance Program is a two-year grant program that provides down payment assistance to homebuyers of either $5,000 or up to 10% of the purchase price of a single-family home. To qualify, the property must be within a Qualifying Census Tract, and the purchase price must be at or below $125,000 with a primary mortgage. The purpose of this program is to boost homeownership within parts of the city by providing assistance to individuals and families in lower-income areas.

Eligibility:

-Cannot owe any fines or fees to the City
