The 2026 Roof Program Lottery, which helps 20 low-income homeowners with roof repairs, will open on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 8:30 AM and conclude on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 2:00 PM.

There are three ways to enter the Roof Program Lottery:

-In-Person: City Hall, 419 Fulton Street, Room 203, Peoria, IL 61602 (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM)

The lottery will be held on GoToMeeting on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 10:00 AM

Hours:

-If registering online, can do so any time between Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 8:30 AM and conclude on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 2:00 PM. by going to https://www.peoriagov.org/225/Roof-Program

-Pick up an application at City Hall, 419 Fulton St, Room 203 (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 noon)

-May call 309-494-8629 Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

-Must own home and have current homeowners! insurance
-Must be at or below the income limit for the household size
-Must be current on property taxes
-Cannot owe the City any fines or fees

Total household income must be at or below the following limits:
1 person household: $54,700
2 person household: $62,500
3 person household: $70,300
4 person household: $78,100
5 person household: $84,350
6 person household: $90,600

Please check with the City regarding income limits for larger households.
