Description:

Provides information and assistance with OSF HealthCare financial assistance and charity care programs for patients who have received or plan to receive care through an OSF facility and are unable to afford their medical bills.

Assistance includes help applying for financial assistance, understanding billing statements, and discussing payment options related to OSF-provided services.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Eligibility:

Anyone who lacks the financial resources to resolve bills for service--can be uninsured or underinsured

All patients are eligible to apply for this assistance.

You can save time and be prepared for any future medical procedures by applying for financial assistance pre-approval.
The approval process generally takes less than two weeks and is good for the next 12 months.
You do not need a current appointment for medical treatment, and only necessary medical procedures will qualify.
Pre-approval applications and financial documentation can be submitted in person at your local OSF HealthCare hospital or online.
