The UnitedHealthcare Children!€™s Foundation (UHCCF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides medical grants to help children gain access to health-related services not covered, or not fully covered, by their family!€™s commercial health insurance plan.

Families can receive up to $5,000 annually per child ($10,000 lifetime maximum per child), and do not need to have insurance through UnitedHealthcare to be eligible.

DOES NOT ACCEPT Medicaid, Medicare, SCHIP (which may be called various names by each state), HIS or other state or federally subsidized health insurance programs given to those without insurance or with low incomes.

Eligibility:

The applicant must be 16 years old or younger and live in the United States and receive and pay for care/items in the United States.
The applicant must be covered by a commercial health insurance plan and benefit limits are either exceeded, no coverage is available and/or the costs are a serious financial burden on the family. UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation requires continuous commercial health insurance coverage for the entire duration of the application, approval and grant process. Loss of commercial health insurance coverage will result in closure of the grant and any remaining grant funds will revert to UHCCF.
