Maxim personnel are available to answer the phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays and weekends. An RN is also on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Long-Term Care:
Long-Term Care Insurance (LTC) can assist individuals who can no longer care for themselves. Many Maxim offices accept LTC insurance. Learn more about this type of insurance and how it can be used.
Medicare:
Many Maxim office locations are Medicare certified by the Federal Government. This program can help to pay for the home healthcare needs of Medicare-eligible patients who meet Medicare criteria. Maxim!s Medicare-certified offices work directly with referral sources to determine if a particular patient satisfies Medicare criteria.
Medicaid:
Most Maxim office locations participate in state Medicaid programs. There are many different Medicaid programs available, including those that support the needs of individuals meeting financial eligibility criteria, as well as those designed to serve the needs of patients with special needs. Maxim!s Medicaid-certified offices can work directly with your family and referral source to determine the various programs that might be available in your area.
Commercial Insurance/Managed Care/Third Party Payors:
Maxim Healthcare Services works with an extensive list of commercial payor sources on a national level, as well as on a regional or state-specific level. As a national company, Maxim is constantly expanding our Managed Care Contracts, and has established policies and procedures to work effectively within managed care settings. This allows Maxim to provide continuous care for patients across the country with all sources of payors.
Workers' Compensation:
If you or a loved one has been injured on the job, workers! compensation can help pay for medically necessary in-home treatment and care of your injuries. Maxim works to ensure that you receive proper care in order to achieve the best possible outcomes and promote a safe return to work.
Private Pay:
Maxim works with patients and their families to provide home healthcare services on a private pay or self-pay basis. Sometimes private pay becomes necessary for either skilled medical or non-medical care services that are not covered by insurances, third party payor source, or Medicare and Medicaid.
Veterans Aid:
The Veterans Aid and Attendance program, provided by the Veterans Administration, offers benefits for veterans and surviving spouses who require assistance with daily living activities. Maxim Healthcare Services is able to work with patients and their families to verify eligibility of pension benefits from the Veterans Administration.

Companion Care - Maxim companions are available on an as-needed basis, with no minimum time constraints. Whether you or your loved one is in need of medication reminders or simple household tasks, Maximâs Companions can assist you with a variety of general companion services in the home. Personal Care - Our professional and trustworthy caregivers ensure you or your loved one is staying healthy and safe by providing assistance with many different personal care activities ranging from a few hours to 24-hours a day. Daily Living Activities - From reminder services, to preparing meals and performing light housekeeping, Maximâs home health caregivers are available to assist with activities of daily living on an as-needed basis, with no time constraints. Sitter Services - Maximâs sitter services are available anywhere from a few hours to 24-hours a day, seven days a week. You can depend on Maxim to assign a dependable, qualified, and compassionate caregiver to watch over and accompany you or your loved one. Household Services - Maximâs household services are a great option for beginning the process of using outside assistance within the home, while also providing a regular âcheck-inâ for concerned family members when necessary.

Skilled Medical Care - Maxim provides a full range of nursing services including wound care, IV therapy, diabetic care, catheter care, cardiac and respiratory assessment and care, medication management, pain management, and cancer care. Private Duty - As a private duty homecare provider, Maxim utilizes qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) to work with each patientâs family and develop a plan of care for our fully certified and licensed caregivers to follow. Intermittent Care - Maxim is able to meet all of your intermittent needs by providing service to Medicare, Managed Care, Workersâ Compensation, Private Insurance, and Private Pay clients. Therapy - Maxim offers complete assessment and treatment by Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists for both adults and children. Respite Care - Maxim's respite care services offer families the opportunity to take a break from their caregiving responsibilities, leaving their family member or loved one in the hands of a trusted Maxim respite staff member. Description
With Maxim Healthcare Services, children get the necessary assistance they need at home to enjoy a safe, healthy, and fulfilling childhood. Maximâs Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurses, Nursing Assistants, and Companions have extensive pediatric experience and deliver care services that are both individualized and highly compassionate towards the needs of the patient and the patientâs family. Pediatric Care - Maxim's pediatric services are accessible around-the-clock or on a per visit, hourly, or daily basis. All Maxim offices are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC). Respite Care - Maxim's respite care services offer families the opportunity to take a break from their caregiving responsibilities, leaving their family member or loved one in the hands of a trusted Maxim respite staff member. Behavioral Health - Raising a child with emotional, behavioral, learning, or developmental issues can sometimes require extra support and guidance. Maxim can help with a behavioral assistance program designed to alleviate inconsistencies in care environment and maintain the long-term objectives of a child's behavioral program.
