Description:
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Peoria County is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the Juvenile Abuse and Neglect Court system. Its existence is based on the belief that every child has the right to a safe and permanent home allowing them the chance to reach their full potential in life.
Hours:
Main Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Intake Process:
Children within the juvenile abuse and neglect court system who are assigned by a judge. CASA can be requested for a child through the states attorney, defense attorney, or guardian ad litem, who will then submit the request to the judge.
