The lack of employability soft skills, as well as life skills are major issues for many job seekers because they misunderstand the importance of punctuality, absenteeism, and the lines of authority and responsibility in the workplace. Employers are looking for workers who are dependable, punctual and know what employers expect and can deliver. Employees who demonstrate soft skills enhance job-readiness and retention and are inclined to be more successful. However, those that are not job ready cost employerâs time and money. Unfortunately, many potential employees are tripping over their own feet because they are facing more personal issues than ever before. Behavioral issues such as: absenteeism, drug/alcohol abuse, procrastination, and poor job performances are common, causing trillions of dollars, in company loses.

Positive and negative stress is a constant influence on all of our lives. The trick is to maximize the positive stress and to minimize the negative stress. This workshop will give participants strategies that will address stressful situations, as well as a toolbox of personal skills, including routines and relaxation techniques.
