Description:
Washington Township is sponsoring a car ride taxi service in cooperation with Morton/Washington Taxi for mobile senior residents age 65 and over who live in and are traveling within Washington Township's 61571 zip code area. When calling, please identify yourself as a 65+ Ride Requester.
Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Intake Process:
If eligibility criteria (mobile senior age 65+, living & traveling within the Washington Township boundaries of the 61571 zip code) are met, please-
-Call Morton/Washington Taxi at 309-266-7433, and please identify yourself as a 65+ Ride Requester.
-Rider must be able to show the driver proof of 61571 Washington Township residency AND 65+ age
-Rider will be required to read and sign a "Program Participant Release and Waiver Form"
-Canes, walkers, and wheelchairs are acceptable as long as they can be folded up for transportation

$3.00 each way (as long as rider meets eligibility criteria and is traveling within Washington Township's 61571 boundaries)
