Description:

It is well documented that providing in home services reduces the rate at which at-risk older adults utilize nursing homes, enabling them to maintain their independence in their own homes. In-home care services provide consumers on-going assistance with activities of daily living (ADL), which may include services like:

Bathing
Dressing
Grooming
Meal preparation
Housekeeping
Errands/transportation
Medication reminders

Supportive services can be arranged for any frequency of time, from one to twenty-four hours of care daily, or on a respite or temporary basis. Addus works with clients, their families and other relevant health care providers to customize care plans, designed to keep individuals safe, healthy and independent at home.
