Warren County United Way was founded in 1971, by a group of Monmouth residents who realized that the community needed to come together for the greater good. Helen Bersted, who served as Warren County United Way's Executive Director for decades, was one of those caring residents; truly leaving a legacy of grace and dignity. Since it began, Warren County United Way has continued to grow with every year.
