About this Provider

Description:

The Illinois Department of Veterans! Affairs is a state agency dedicated to empowering veterans, as well as their dependents and survivors. The agency helps veterans navigate the complex veteran support system and assists them in obtaining benefits; provides long term health care for eligible veterans at five Veterans! Homes; and works with other government agencies and non-profits to help veterans address education, mental health, housing, employment, and other challenges.

Hours:

Peoria Office: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed 12 to 1)

Fulton County Office (VFW at 1323 S Main St in Lewistown): 1st and 3rd Friday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Phone is 309-837-5838

State Line (800-437-9824): Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
