People who are experiencing life problems that are impacting their everyday life may benefit from our services. These problems may range from emotional or behavioral disturbances with symptoms such as depressed mood, anxiety, thoughts of wanting to harm oneself or others, anger or aggression, difficulty eating or sleeping to decreased school performance or difficulty maintaining a job.
If you are looking for help to address issues related to mental health, developmental, intellectual or other disabilities, substance abuse problems, family issues or employment challenges, we may be the human service center for you or your loved one. Bridgeway has many specialized programs and services for adults and children. An intake assessment will help determine what services may be appropriate in addressing your life problems.

Description
The Community Employment Team is made up of Employment Specialists and Job Coaches who use a coordinated team approach to support the consumer to be successful in the world of work. This total team approach is centered around the consumer and his/her support system: the Employment Specialist, family, the interdisciplinary team, the DRS counselor, the doctor, etc. This model really works and each year Bridgeway is successful in placing scores of people with disabilities into competitive jobs and supporting them to achieve a more fulfilling life by realizing their dream of having a job in their community. Bridgeway provides a variety of vocational training experiences for individuals with disabilities to learn work skills and habits as well as provide a regular paycheck based on the productivity of the individual. Paid opportunities to build work skills include some of these skill areas: -following a schedule -learning a task from beginning to end -keeping track of your time/production -dealing with production speed-up/slow-downs -operating within the safety parameters set by a supervisor -getting to work on time -complying with work rules -learning how to work with others Even people with serious limitations can learn a job and find satisfaction and increased feelings of self worth by having employment. Bridgeway has Production Centers in Macomb, Pekin, Galesburg, and Kewanee.

Substance Abuse Services.
Description
Intervention and Substance Abuse services are offered in a five county area (Knox, Henry, Warren, Henderson and McDonough) in West Central Illinois. Services are offered through outpatient interventions delivered to individuals in the communities in which they reside, or in close proximity to their residence. Substance Abuse interventions are oriented towards the delivery of quality services to individuals and communities throughout our catchment area. All substance Abuse sites will implement the Matrix Model of outpatient treatment as the treatment modality which is evidence based program. Substance Abuse services are offered with the hope and belief that programming will adequately address the needs of those individuals seeking substance abuse treatment services. In this regard, Bridgeway Substance Abuse offers a variety of services to both adults and adolescents. We are confident that with this orientation we are able to deliver effective treatment interventions to individuals, in a professional manner, addressing their personal, individualized needs. Specific services offered include: -Evaluation/Intake -Individual Counseling -Outpatient Group Therapy -Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOT) -Womenâs Services Adolescent Services Insight Program Relapse Prevention Services Co-Occurring Services

Outpatient Services.
Description
Bridgeway's Outpatient Services provide services to all persons referred who are experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges that are impacting their ability to functioning and reside in the Bridgeway service area. Bridgeway provides a continuum of care with a philosophy of serving persons based on their needs in the least restrictive level of care. Bridgeway provides the following mental health recovery services: -Individual Counseling -Group Counseling -Community Support Services -Psychiatric Services -Medication Monitoring Intake teams are composed of qualified mental health professionals, licensed clinicians and designated program support specialists who are responsible for accepting referrals and completing necessary intake documentation. The Intake Team review referral information, determine eligibility for services, and ensure linkage with Bridgeway service area designed to meet the consumerâs identified mental health needs. Additionally, the intake clinician will work with the consumer to provide linkage and/or information related to resources to meet needs that go beyond the scope of Bridgeway services.
