Description:
CIRT is a non-profit organization serving children, teens & adults (including U.S. Veterans) with mental, physical, emotional & behavioral disabilities, from Tazewell and surrounding counties, in a therapeutic comprehensive and recreational horseback riding program.
Hours:
Monday through Thursdays, 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

$50 application fee for new riders. Please call for more information.

Eligibility:
Approximately one hundred students per year ride at CIRT, ranging in age from three years to adult, with a variety of physical, emotional, behavioral and mental disabilities including but not limited to: Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, visual and hearing impairments, learning disabilities, head trauma, strokes, PTSD, etc.

Central Illinois Riding Therapy offers anyone with mental, physical, emotional & behavioral disabilities in a therapeutic, comprehensive and recreational horseback riding program.
Availability
CIRT provides lessons five days a week, Monday through Friday, April through December weather permitting.
