The Creve Coeur Fire Department was established in 1938 and located between the cities East Peoria and Pekin, Illinois. The Creve Coeur Fire Department provides fire protection and medical response for the Village of Creve Coeur which encompasses approximately 7 square miles. The department averages around 700 calls a year and has a population of 5000 citizens. The Creve Coeur Fire Department is a all volunteer department and even though it provides BLS medical response to calls it is a non-transporting agency of the Peoria Area EMS System.

The Creve Coeur Fire Department has two Fire Stations with Central House located at 203 Wagner Drive and Station 2 located at 592 Dempsey Street.
