Description:
The Arts in Education Spring Celebration has been showcasing students' talents in the arts for over 30 years. Each year over 12,000 area school children come to the Peoria County Courthouse Plaza in downtown Peoria to exhibit their artistic talents before audiences numbering in the thousands. The Spring Celebration is a harbinger of spring in Central Illinois.
We thank the community for its overwhelming support of the Spring Celebration. Our community provides educational experiences that nurture every aspect of a child!s development. If the arts are the nutrients of the human spirit, then the Arts in Education Spring Celebration provides a bountiful feast for our children and community.

The GMB Arts in Education Spring Celebration is a five to six-week event during April and May each year. The performance schedule is from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. each weekday. It showcases the Fine Arts and Applied Arts programs of over 100 schools from seven counties: Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, Marshall, Fulton, Henry, and McLean. Over 12,000 students and 400 teachers participate.
